What is the condition for the oscillation to become a wave?

(1) Suitable Wave Amplitude

(2) System coupling with the medium

(3) Medium elasticity

Types of Disorders:

(1) Remove from equilibrium position

What are the two most important parameters for whether a system is linear or nonlinear?

(1) oscillator speed

(2) Wave propagation speed
 

Is the oscillator speed related to the wave speed? Why?

(The answer to this question has been fully analyzed in APG sessions)

When is the system nonlinear?

Sometimes the amplitude of the oscillation is very long.

(In APG sessions, a precise and very interesting condition for creating a nonlinear system is obtained)
